I often forget in this community that many members are not from US. I am not of the same mindset when it comes to censorship because of where I am located. I see censorship as a necessity to block hate-spewing personalities on the internet. Those people should not be given the platform to elevate their voice.

Even with that mindset, I agree with your point of view in this article. One of the main things any writer tries to accomplish is to convince their audience of a point. With your evenhanded handling of this topic you've managed to convince me that perhaps, in this instance, YouTube and larger entities are stepping over the line in what they deem unsuitable for their platform. It's a sliding scale where the target is arbitrary and the rationale murky at best.

There's a middle ground where "censorship" serves a purpose. This is not one of those cases.

On a personal note, "centralized megalith", holy shit that's some good writing.

Platforms that have potential to reach users are based on centralization. They have ability and power on leading users what they want and what they don't. Sadly there aren't any decentralized platforms to touch on people.

Platforms like Youtube, Facebook and Tiktok are well known in every populations, and this gives them the power. Most of you can recall that these platforms show you adds based on your entity. If you talk about cat food when your phone is in your pocket, 1h later you will start seeing cat food advertisement. This is something ridicilious that is too far away from decentralization.

Everyone has rights to make speech based on freedom, unless they break any rules. But we see that sometimes these platforms block the people out of reason. I hope this will changee in future and we will get introduced to platforms that will be based on decentralization.

Thanks for the article!

TikTok, the Chinese-owned video-sharing app like YouTube, has updated its branded content policy to ban all financial services and products, including influencers promoting cryptocurrency, stock trading, and buy-now-pay plans. The company says the move aims to stop the growing abuse of the wildly popular social media platform for engaging in scams, scams and dishonest acts that could violate someone's privacy.

These platforms also try to protect their own communities. It is natural for me to make such restriction decisions. This may change in the future because people will know more about this market.

Right now people are looking for the easy way out. As a result, there are too many ignorant people.

As I said, these restrictions may loosen more when people have more knowledge in the future.

Thanks for the valuable article information. Have a nice day.

Unfortunately, there are rogue channels today that have a lot of followers. But generalising is very wrong.

There are also channels that really work and try to convey the right information.

The general judgment is wrong, regardless of minority or majority. One's Labor can't be garbage because of another's.

It must be really hard to stay in a situation like this.

They call him a crook because of something you didn't do. As funny as it is sad. Tragicomic.

I hope they figure it out somehow.

They need to find.

Thank you for the article.

Have a nice day.

There are countless crypto content and content producers on many social media platforms. Among them, there are those who worth their salt, as well as those who try to manipulate the market for their own interests.

As I mentioned in Sylvain's article today, we have to choose the truth among them with our own will. We should not lend credence to those who exhibit manipulative attitudes. As long as we do our own research, we don't need anyone.

Crypto has been gaining more and more space in our lives in recent years. I find it natural that there are restrictions on social media. If crypto is indeed to become a need in the future, that will change over time.

Thanks for the article.

There are youtube channels that deceive people about crypto, but there are those who inform people, just because of this, it would be a big mistake to say that youtube channels about crypto are scammers.

The same is true for stock markets. You've all heard of the Thodex thing. $2 billion fraud case

When my friends heard this, they told me to withdraw my money from the stock market. It's ridiculous to judge the binance and gate exchanges I use just because of this incident.

Actually, I am against restriction as long as it does not contain insults and things that negatively affect society. Is knowledge good or bad? For example, North Korea has biased media, people can't see what's going on in the world. Do you think this event is good for the people there? I think people should read different publications and separate the good from the bad.

Social media is a very interesting place. Sometimes they're too libertarian. Sometimes there are strict prohibitions.

Difference is good. I like to see different things. I'm in a lot of groups on the Telegram. Some of these are Trader channels. They get commissions from people. In return, they give a guarantee hint. Are extremely enjoyable to watch. Sometimes I warn people, but they immediately ban them from the channel.

In that respect, I'm a junkyard. I go to every dump. Sometimes I find valuable treasures, sometimes useless things in it. So having freedom makes my job easier. I see every idea.

Social media owners, on the other hand, follow different policies. It's hard to understand. I'm not thinking about understanding. I'm just watching.

Thanks for the nice post.

Every day we are encountering numerous Crypto publications on YouTube, Twitter or all other social media networks.

And that is a very normal condition.

Everyone is trying to sell and advertise the product it produces.

Or some celebrities can pump some projects to make money.

I don't think we can escape all of these.

We will continue to be exposed to all this information and ad flow.

There is a way of protecting ourselves.

to do research, read, learn

We need to continue to do this continuously.

You can only protect yourself.

Thanks for your great article.

That's why you see all these channels upload their videos to LBRY (now Odysee).

YouTube will look after its corporate interests and whatever doesn't conform to their current "standard" will be taken down.

Decentralization is our best bet against censorship.

I really don't like people who generalize.

Yeah, there are a lot of channels that cheat and cheat people, but not all of them. It's sad to put channels that try to help people and do good things into this generalization and ignore their labor.

They accuse him of something he didn't do, which is also frustrating for him.
