The Tip Jar definitely seems like a feature rip off, but they couldn't even copy a successful model.

I like how Reddit is going about it with their Moons system. Every upvote received in eligible subreddits earns users some of their Moon token, the amount per upvote fluctuates each distribution period. If you're interested make sure to sign up for the Reddit Vault as well or your Moons aren't going anywhere!

Maybe the Twitter devs should copy Reddits homework?

LOL .. I like this idea but ... The person you tip can see the e-mail address and physical address of the tipper ? This is highly illegal and against Data Protection policies and GDPR laws in Europe.

My employer discourages and blocks the use of the Brave browser. This has led me to believe that the browser is unsafe. Does anyone use it? Is it actually recommended?

I use it sometimes, but I still prefer Google Chrome, though Brave has improved significantly since it first came out (feels a lot faster now). I'm no expert on what goes on in the background, but it sounds safe if it is truly as advertised. It logs me out of everything with each new session. You can use DuckDuckGo/Tor in their incognito window for added anonymity.

It's also nice to earn BAT (not much, but it's something) for viewing ads when simply browsing. The ads aren't obnoxious. Just a little popup notification in the bottom corner of your screen, similar to when you receive a new e-mail.

I don't think any platform has really nailed any type of tipping process yet. I still seems a bit clunky and unrefined..... Though, I do think most platforms will adopt some sort of tipping format soon.

Is definitely a copy of the Brave feature, but we all knew Twitter wasn't very original with their “new” feature, also shows how when somebody does something good others are going to try to copy, so is something that talks very well about Brave.

This kind of progress on traditional websites is good, I still don't like or trust centralized sites like twitter.

Twitter definitely needs to go the Blockchain way on this one. Maybe create a token or implement BAT or some other. I like the idea, would be cool to get some extra money from. tweeting.

I love Brave, and I love the rewards system they created. I think it was an amazingly innovative way to have quality content shine through, be rewarded, and develop further. It also brought about a reason for websites to be honest, trustworthy, and of impeccable quality! Brave is awesome. The fact that twitter took the idea and placed it on their site is not surprising. Honestly I think that was the whole idea behind BAT in the first place. To have it everywhere as a decentralized way to reward, pay, purchase, and vote. It's a great system to have as an introductory course in crypto in my opinion.
