Much of my favourite art is that found on the covers of old sci-fi novels. I think that is what attracted me to CryptoFinney and Writer in the first place.
For me, Stephen’s art has the same effect. His pieces conjure up all of the magnificent thoughts I have when looking at those old book covers – a vast chasm of endless possibilities, with humanity a mere blip on the periphery.
In a way, this comparisons isn’t entirely fair, as Stephen’s art is more profound than an old book cover. It’s just that it inspires the same feelings of universal scale that I first encountered as a boy being introduced to the mastery of the sci-fi greats.
Traveling at the speed of light, billions of miles away, in the vast outreaches of space are pieces of stardust, depicted in Stephen’s art, careening towards us to be reunited with the stardust that is within us or others; the destination always unknown but frankly, irrelevant.
Smart people are continuously learning and trying to surround themselves with other intelligent people. The fear of being seen as dumb is a great motivator for me.
Love the simplicity in Stephen's answer on his meaning of art as the exploration of self. This is the essence of living beings learning and growing, finding their place and meaning in the vastness of the universe. I think Butterfly Bellatrix captures this with the burst of color expanding in an endless space. This journey of exploration is an art in and of itself. Writers, artists, and scientists are simply names for a few different types of explorers. Some explorers (artists) certainly have an affinity toward aesthetics, but fewer have the ability to create like Stephen has here.
I like this type of art but something tells me that when art enthusiasts look back on this time, they'll want to find NFT art that has crypto or a time stamp of 2021 incorporated into it.
That is some beautiful art and is even more reason to want a membership card. I think his art fits in with Finney. It makes me wonder what beautiful things Finney has seen along his journey.
This is really cool. The artwork is awesome but when you combine it with beautifully written context it creates this awesome sorta synergy. 👏 🙌
Incredible art, amazing article, drop is going to be 🔥🔥🙌

Those old books did change my life though..
Oh shit this is crazy amazing and Lotus seems like a really interesting and deep person.
I’m so exited for this colab and hopefully we see more of this incredible artist soon !
WOW this is mesmerizing art!!! Can't wait for the drop
I'm in love with Firestorm Fleurs, Stephen did an excellent job with the texture in the piece, almost like a digital oil painting. Beautiful!
Fantastic ending 👌

Thank you. There are parts that feel like true inspiration, that was one of them.
Love reading these articles! Makes me feel smart....well, no, actually makes me feel like I'm dumb but I have really smart friends.

This should have been a paragraph in the piece.
