That's really cool! I'm looking forward to your future articles, especially how to use the IBC??

Cosmos sounds very similar to polkadot…It’ll be very interesting to see how these two project progress.

Maybe Cosmos will have an edge on Polkadot as it’s already doing what polkadot claims it will be able to do.

I believe IBC tech will be vital to the progression of blockchain/s going forward, just like the highways between cities, IBC’s will allow blockchains to transmit information between different chains with ease.

Polkadot is also a very good project and has far better marketing than Cosmos. However the differneces between Polkadot and Cosmos are what really sets them apart. For example, Polkadot's version of interoperability is limited to slots (100 slots to be precise), within the Polkadot network that are being auctioned off to the highest bidder and rented for a limited amount of time and then auctioned again. In terms of short term accrual of value this plan is brilliant and will also mean that the projects on Polkadot will be of a high standard. With Cosmos on the other hand, there is no limit to the number of chains that can connect as any chain who implements the IBC protocol can link to the IBC albeit, it will be much easier for chains that are built on the Cosmos SDK as the IBC can be implemented seamlessly. Both projects have very big futures although, I feel that Cosmos has a longer term vision of being the central hub for 'The Internet of Blockchains', much like a network of super computers with Cosmos as the hub (router).

That's a nice analogy with the glasses. IBC is a super interesting concept, I'm excited to see how Terra and Cosmos will integrate.
