bdub’s comment on Daniel Larimer - More Equal Animals Book Release & ClarionOS Project - The Cryptowriter Podcast #41
I've just listened to this, and aside from being fascinating, it made me realize that in this digital age we are essentially translating the full human experience into code, (granted, of various types).
Whether it’s gaming, online marketplaces or a digital world like Upworld, the common theme is translation from the real to the digital.
All of this makes me realize that as these services become ever more interconnected (and the world becomes ever more populated), the natural course of events will see a humanity that is present digitally, more so than physically.
So far, the above may seem obvious to everyone here, but to me it was an epiphany about just how an altruistic matrix like structure may realistically come about, and much sooner than we think.
The bit that really got me was Daniel talking about voting systems. His observations regarding democracy echo international relations theory minutely. I’m not sure if he had studied these theories prior to writing his book, but there is much overlap in the rationality.
Specifically, the epiphany I had was that it is the very act of observing human interaction, and translating it in to code, may be the best methodology to exposes our flaws, as well as an excellent way to design better systems. It made me really realize how blockchain, and her descendants, will really, fundamentally, change the world for the better.
To sum up, Dan’s articulation of how western democracy is not really democracy, and his suggestions about how to run a better style of democratic governance, really made me see how the digitalization of everything will eventually lead to a more systemically rational society.

Ryya CryptoSharks comment on What is an NFT and Why Should You Care?
Great article! I personally see a huge potential in the NFT commodity collectible space, especially on Wax.
It opens up this world to single artists turning their art into different kinds of collectable trading cards, artist groups collectable drops etc. and all this accessible to a wider range of collectors. Not gated or restricted by enormous fees or complicated coding...
If you dyor it is pretty easy to mint your first nft and make it accessible to collectors in a blink of an eye. With secondary markets and royality being an important part for the artists themselves and at this point without the need to give the power and control over this to another party.
I am sure we will see very interesting things to come in this space, especially on the alternative blockchains!
The coin may flip in the future!

Zeke’s comment on Block.one Brings Funding to EOS! Yves La Rose interview.
YESSS! B1 finally funding something that directly benefits EOS! It's been a loooooong winter and it feels like EOS is finally coming back to life!
✅Dans back and ready to lead.
✅B1 funding 2 of the best teams we've got for this crowdfunding platform.
✅NFTs and Finney making their debut on EOS.
✅Eden DAO to fund EOS independence.
I'd like see hardworking teams like Greymass who've stuck around and built useful tools for the ecosystem rewarded and funded, as I'm sure they will be. Beyond that, the sky's the limit! 🙏🙏

Mohamad Al-azm’s comment on Smackdown: Roubini vs Bitcoin
I love this conversation so much. First time getting in BTC was around $5,000 and I remember telling friends and family about it and everyone giving me the exact reasons you mention in your article. Years latter and BTC is now above $50,000 and the same people are asking me how to invest. I have been a believer for a while but like everyone says, I'm not a financial advisor so didn't push anyone. Last thing I want is people investing because of something I said and for some reason losing money. Can't wait to see how high we take BTC in the future!

Rach Jain’s comment on What Is Ethereum and Why Should You Care?
Ethereum is one of my favourite cryptos and its biggest disadvantage is the gas fees. Hoping ETH developers will solve this issue with Eth 2.0. Indeed a very informative & enjoyable article for a novice!
