I’m not a member of the EOS community or a disciple of Larimer’s. However, how long I stay in this space will be determined by the success of EOS. So I’m a concerned citizen at best.

I have trouble grasping why EOS hasn’t had the adoption that other currencies have. The benefits to EOS compared to other blockchains is undeniable.

And then here you are, explaining the process of what amounts to a republic voting system that could possibly have been handled over an email. Couple that with the barrier of reading a physical book (as an English teacher I have no issue with this but am fully aware of the hesitation this will absolutely cause) and…I get why it’s being held back.

There is a disconnect between the creator and the users and I’m afraid the free market is sending all the signals.

Please note: none of this is directed at you Mark, but rather the abstract idea of people I’ll never meet, not have the courage to say any of this to their face due to my lack of technical knowledge and cowardice.

there are valid reasons as to why the gov system on eden needs to have video interviews which are published an NFTs, its a way of doing KYC so the system can't be gamed. The eden gov system is separate from EOS, it is just being tested on the EOS blockchain first

That I can wrap my brain around.

For sure. I actually think the vids are an innovative way to do it. But the experience did feel odd to me. And you're totally right that EdenOS is its own thing. Its model for democracy could even be done without computers.

yeah, i can understand that, the way it is scripted sounds like some kind of cult induction lol

Thank you Mark for given a blueprint in Joining Eden on EOS. My 1st EOS experience was on atomic hub Eos when I was searching for the EOS crypto Finney coins. It took some reading and work to finally to an Eos account with an anchor wallet to burn 🔥 on Finney coins on Eos.

Hey Mark, thanks for sharing your experience on joining Eden! From first glance, it seems like it's a pretty involved process, but it may be a necessary step in order to get active members on the platform. I hope that it will become scalable and have enough unique members to represent many different viewpoints. I'll continue to follow this project and am excited to see what kind of things are voted on. Thanks!

I'm still a little confused. What is the main goal of EdenOS? Does Eden have authority over the development of EOS?

Is there a way to make EOS with Eden? Investing 10 EOS is okay if there is a profit potential.

This is governance, so your 10 EOS contribution is going to be used by the community, for the community. If that doesn't lead to profit in the long run, then we're doing something wrong. In the short term, you're just handing over 10 EOS to the community and agreeing to abide by the process.

I've seen some nfts showing the process of joining the community you mentioned.

I don't get it, but they looked great.

now everything is clear

I will examine the process in more detail.

And I hope you'll accept me when I'm ready.

I love EOS and really want to see success for it. It's just such an awesome project and everything seems easier on it. Iv was really excited for Eden, and still am. I gotta say though... Reading this and all the requirements was.... Weird? Is that the right word? I don't think it's sufficient but I'll settle with it. It was almost illuminati like 0_0
