Thanks for informing about 51% attacks.

Thank you for discuss it in such a detailed and technical way. I was a little worried at the beginning, but towards the end, I felt a little relieved.

As someone who has a visual memory and learns more easily with visuals, I was very happy that you included diagrams. That makes things easier.

It is gratifying that this attack is difficult to achieve.

You are giving very important information about Bitcoin, I hope it continues like this.

Thanks for the article.

I read the article in one breath. I had never thought of such a possibility before.

51% attack is really dangerous for the market, not only for btc but also for other coins

such attacks are more likely to happen when the market drops

I thought it was a tactic of newly released coins so that the whale wouldn't get all the coins, maybe a similar one could be used in this case.

Even with a small BTC drop, people can look at the transfers on the network and figure out who has corrupted a large amount of BTC, so the account trying to do this 51% attack is detected early and people try to block it.

Like most people, I have heard of the 51% attack for the first time. I was very tense at the beginning of the article, but later on, when the information settled down, I was relieved to have a better grasp on the subject.

You have already logically explained that someone with 51% will not do this attack. If I had such a power, I would already make more profit from the mining business.

It would be much better if you explained this subject with photographic diagrams. It is a subject that is difficult to explain and understand, and many of us hear it for the first time. Thank you for that article. I wish you a good day

I wasn't aware of the potentiality of 51% attack. Its technical side is well explained in this article. However, I think it's almost impossible for any entity to have control over %50 of hash rate, considering the volume and intensity of Bitcoin network. Even if it somehow becomes possible the entity wouldn't have enormous amount of power in hand. Everything is crystal clear in Bitcoin network, so he/she would be easily noticed. Also as you mentioned it is complete harm to his/her mining process.

Thanks for another informative Bitcoin article!

You explained very well what the 51% attack is.

and thanks for helping us understand why such an attack doesn't make sense.

If you have 51% hash rate, that's already profitable enough.

It's really hard to get.

But let's say you have such a power in your hands.

It doesn't make sense to abuse it.

So, as you said, it makes much more sense to follow the rules of the network.

The 51% attack probability should therefore not cause any fear.

Thanks for your great article.

Great article! Thank you for educating the community on Bitcoin’s potential threats and conversely it’s stellar security. I hope the Fed doesn’t read your article, because they would have the resources and motive to compromise the network. Well, with tax revenue, maybe they’re better off leaving it alone? Anyways, long live the CW community! Keep the great articles coming.

It's the first time I've heard it, 51%. I've argued with a lot of people. They called bitcoin a fraud. But none of them used it as a trump card. It's a very strong trump card. To learn has been very good. Even if they tell me after that, I can explain.

But if there is such power. A person can only do this to do harm. If it's possible, why didn't anyone do it? Couldn't he, or is he waiting for the big fish? I'm very confused. You said it was very difficult. Hard means possible. Who would protect bitcoin if they tried to do that?

I'm confused by this, but it won't affect my investments. I'll have to do research. On this topic. I have a lot of question marks left in my head.

It was a good article. I learned something new. I recognized a different aspect of bitcoin. I'm going to do more research on this and find answers to my questions.

I'm not sure I've heard it before, but that's okay. I think I know enough now to tell someone about the 51% attack.

It's great that you explain it in detail.

To tell you the truth, I was a little nervous halfway through the article. I mean, even though it's hard to have 51%, I thought, " What if?".

But towards the end I realised it was really difficult and it was unreasonable to attack 51% even if we had something like that.

I think it's information that most people don't know.

It was easy for me to understand that you described it with drawings.

Great information thank you for the drawings.

Have a nice day.

The explanation doesn't get any clearer than this.

Thanks for putting it so clearly.

I think it's safe to say that we're not going to be seeing 51% attacks in the future.

Can we equate this attack with manipulating the volume with news?

You've described 51% of the attacks very well. I never knew it, but I understood it in one reading.

I like it when you explain how unreasonable the attack is, and it strengthens my understanding.

And your drawings really help you understand.

An attack of 51% is a dangerous thing, but as you said in the article, a person of 51% will not make that attack.

Already 51% is very profitable.

Thanks for this beautiful and descriptive article.
