While everybody argues about whether NFTs are really just JPEGs, creators are using them for all sorts of reasons that have nothing to do with graphic art. One writer, Elle Griffin, used NFTs to fund the first chapters of one of her novels. I had a chance to catch up with her as part of my research into the creator economy and my own possible migration to NFTs.
This is a solid gold example of how blockchain technology can change how an industry operates and hand more power back to the artist/creator. My prediction is that in 10 years we’ll see this similar type of story told over and over again across multiple industries. I would like to see Cryptowriter pick up more of these stories as it helps advertise to the layman why blockchains helps. Most can’t grasp the benefits. This does it in a way that is relatable and easy to understand.

Use of NFTs will grow as entrepreneurs and developers them easier to use. Massively applicable technology!
