So you think governments should be forced to hold a specific amount of Bitcoin to back their currency like they used to have to do with Gold? How and why would they all agree to this?
It's probably a little bit of a cliche to say that Bitcoin alone is our saviour and path to a new, better financial word. However, I do think you could say that the principles behind Bitcoin (and therefore the wider cryptocurrency world) do hold this lofty ambition. It certainly still has flaws and issues but it is probably the best opportunity we currently have a more free, open, transparent and inclusive financial system that doesn't just benefit the wealthy. However, as always, if we are not careful the wealthy will work out how to game the system as they have done throughout history. Need to watch carefully and participate to ensure that it doesn't slowly morph into something used as an oppressive tool rather than the liberating one it was designed for.
We're experiencing history in the making. The paradigm shift from "traditional" money to digital money. Bitcoin will most probably be the reference and set the standard for new innovations to come. It's very exciting to be able to witness these events and take part on them.
Bitcoin is and will continue to be one of the important things in history. It is a very important milestone that affects the past, present and future. Thanks for the article!
All of these things are so true, the thing I feel we have to start figuring out how to really address is how we get more adoptions before governments realize what a huge threat to their control bitcoin will be at some point.
