I’m not saying the below is true, but it has a certain elegance:

We all know that Elon is here to “change the world”. You need only look at the disruptive nature of all of his companies – think Tesla, SpaceX and The Boring Company.

Why should his motivation for pouring energy into crypto be different?

Consider his actions to date – it began with Bitcoin pamping, and evolved to the great Doge pamp.

Given Elon’s grand designs – is it too far beyond the pale to believe that there is a grand strategy behind his actions? If you think about it, without one, his actions – particularly as the pertain to Doge - don’t make a lot of sense.

So, stay with me here, what if Elon doesn’t just have grand designs for Mars? What if his grand designs are also focused on Earth? I mean, why spearhead the colonization of Mars if you don’t expect to be instrumental in ruling the planet? And if Mars is seen as a grand prize, what does that make Earth?

Now that I’ve painted Elon as a man who believes he is the perfect person to steer humanity, think back to his actions in crypto markets.

He begins with Bitcoin, buying it up via Tesla, tweeting and making announcements about it. He realizes he can push the price around. A plan begins to form.

Elon has understood that his support of Bitcoin is making a lot of people rich, and a question occurs to him. Rather than making the whole Bitcoin crowd wealthy, how can I be more selective about who benefits from y actions? Enter Doge, stage right.

That’s right, Elon not only has grand designs for humanity, he’s also no fool. He thinks things through long and hard, and determines that if he targets another crypto currency, he can be more discerning about who he makes wealthy, and therefor empowers.

Now consider Doge investors; young, priced out of housing, suffering through an economic downturn, green, egalitarian, and full of hope. Elon has an epiphany – make Doge investors rich via a campaign clearly powered by Elon and what do you create? An army of mega-wealthy, super-fanatical Elon followers. A legion if you will.

And what would Elon do with a legion of young, wealthy, fanatical followers?

Why the same thing that’s happened time and time again over all human history – conquer the known the world!

So is Elon manipulating the price of Bitcoin? Certainly he is, but only around the edges.

Is Bitcoin manipulation the centerpiece of is grand strategy? The answer is clearly no - for this you need only look to Doge, and all of the unanswered questions regarding Elon’s seemingly nonsensical support for it.

Watch out World – while Emperor Elon may or may not have diamond hands, he certainly has grand designs.

We´re all puppets in his eyes. Nobody should be following what he says. And don´t get me started on Dogecoin...

Excellent post. Bitcoin will rise higher with or without Elon Musk, and I do believe he is being manipulative. It's the kind of manipulation that led to Securities laws in the 1930s.

I'm just like....I can't. I want to but I can't. I can't even formulate thoughts. I have SETUP ALERTS TO HIS TWEETS. Just as a precaution. He knows what he's doing. He's not stupid. I mean we know that, look at his giant industry changing companies and his investments etc...

He's able to do this because of who he is, yes. He's also able to do this because of what people think about him. Don't get me wrong. I love the guy and what he's done for the world already...but behind (almost) every altruistic action by a forward thinker there is still that human nature of greed and self preservation. I think he's taking advantage of a volatile space -Crypto- for both personal gain AND advancement, if that makes sense. He knows that this is the future. He knows he can freely manipulate the market. Who wouldn't leverage that power?

Like I said. I can't. I need something to take away this anxiety... you uh...

you...

you got any of them Finny Coins...?

I've always been skeptical of Elon Musk ever since he got humiliated that his submarine was not used in the Thailand cave rescue and resorted to baselessly calling one of the rescue divers a "pedo guy." It's clear that years of blind approval from his "yes man" cult-like following has given Musk dangerous hubris and a "can't-do-wrong" attitude. I'm all for constructive criticism, but it seems disingenuous when he's pumping doge coin as the "crypto of the people" after years of Tesla's labor law violations and firing people over unionization concerns. It's clear he's an out-of-touch billionaire who should stick to tweeting about things that he knows about (which, in his defense, is a lot).

I wish Elon would just channel all of his crypto tweets into XRP and make me rich

I’m impressed by how this man can influence people, but in my very amateur (and probably wrong) point of view, he just made a natural process happen but sooner and faster. Eventually everything is going to go back to normal and we’re going to be laughing about this...

I hope so

Let the whales do what they have to do, just understand that this manipulation is also part of the markets natural course.

Thank you for this wonderful observation and research.

I'm always confused about Elon Musk

I can't decide whether to love her or not

because their action is both harmful and often beneficial.

It has significantly increased awareness of Bitcoin and other cryptos.

we investors are not prepared for such situations.

If you are a long term investor, buy and forget

use stop loss if you are a short term investor

take every fall and see it as an opportunity
