Bitcoin is seen primarily as a financial investment by the general public. A financial investment that is a bit special, since it is able to bring huge profits to those who believe in its revolution.
In reality, Bitcoin is much more than that.
Bitcoin is a monetary revolution that will change the world as we know it for the better. Bitcoin is about giving power back to individuals in terms of money.
Once you have power over your money, you will be able to regain total control over your life through Bitcoin. When I say this, many people look at me like I’m a Bitcoiner who doesn’t know the significance of my words. I do. And that’s why I use them!
The consumer society and the current system are constantly pushing you to buy unnecessary things
We live in a consumer society where everything is done to make you spend your fiat money on things you don’t really need. Advertisers are very inventive in pushing consumers to buy.
Even worse, the fiat system at the center of which is the American dollar was made to make you spend so much more of your money. If you don’t, you will lose money as your purchasing power in U.S. dollars continues to fall over time.
For example, $1,000 of purchasing power in 1971 represents only $148 of purchasing power in 2021.
Under the current system, you do not have the freedom to save the fruits of your labor. If you do, you are severely punished. Bitcoin is a total paradigm shift in this respect. Bitcoin’s programmatic monetary policy was designed to protect its users.
Bitcoin changes the game by allowing you to save the fruits of your labor
When you buy Bitcoin, you are guaranteed that your BTC bought in 2021 will always represent the same amount of BTC relative to the maximum supply that can be put into circulation. This is set at 21 million BTC. Many wonder why Satoshi Nakamoto chose this number, but nobody really knows.
In any case, the important thing to remember is that Bitcoin offers you three fundamental freedoms:
Freedom to receive BTC.
Freedom to send BTC.
Freedom to HODL BTC.
Combined, these three freedoms give you the power to live your life on your own terms.
From then on, you will question yourself and better reflect on what you really need in life. Do you need to buy a sports car? Do you need to impress your friends with a luxury watch?
All of these questions will be asked as soon as you fully enter the Bitcoin system.
You’ll understand that the answer is no. Bitcoin pushes you to develop critical thinking skills that will eventually lead you to a better understanding of what you really need. This will lead you to live a frugal life that is close to minimalism.
The more you reduce your expenses, the more money you will have to buy BTC.
To accumulate more BTC, you will change the way you consume
By accumulating more and more BTC, you will protect the fruits of your labor from the ravages of monetary inflation in a way that is resistant to censorship. As the fiat system slowly collapses, the fruits of your labor product will be protected. You will be able to use it whenever you want for things you really need or want.
These will not be things that the consumer society has pushed you to buy, but things that you want for yourself.
Well aware that you need to accumulate more and more BTC, you will gradually seek to maximize your sources of income. This will push you to develop your entrepreneurial spirit. You will think about creating a product, a service, or create content to bring value to a maximum of people.
Ideally, you will end up getting paid in BTC for this value that would bring you to others. That’s what Elon Musk just did by supporting Bitcoin payment for his Tesla cars.
This will allow you to accumulate more and more BTC in anticipation of what lies ahead in the world of the future. A world where Bitcoin will not necessarily have replaced the fiat system, but a world where the Bitcoin system will be an alternative used by at least a billion people.
Bitcoin will then be seen at its true value: the people’s currency backed by the people.
Eventually, you’ll discover the Bitcoin magic formula for taking back control of your life
Having embraced the Bitcoin revolution before others, you will be rewarded fairly. Indeed, Bitcoin offers the same opportunities to all its users, but all have the right to seize those opportunities whenever they want. This will necessarily create differences in rewards between those who embrace the Bitcoin revolution before others.
Nothing wrong with that. Everyone has the same information, everyone chooses to act when they want.
At that point, you’ll remember that by learning more about Bitcoin, money, and the economy, you’ll one day have found the Bitcoin magic formula:
Maximize your income - Minimize your expenses = More money to Accumulate More BTC
This is the only formula you can apply to get out of the trap of generalized impoverishment in which the current monetary and financial system traps you.
Final Thoughts
There is no guarantee that the Bitcoin revolution will come to an end. But in any case, you have nothing to lose, since the current system will end in your ruin sooner or later. It’s only a matter of time, unfortunately.
By embracing the Bitcoin revolution, you at least have the hope of a better world for most people in the future. A world with a system that reconciles collective and individual interests at the same time.
That’s why Bitcoiners constantly repeat that “Bitcoin is Hope”. It’s up to you to seize this opportunity to hope for a better future for you and the many.

This is a great article to share with the older generation. Very informative and gives a great perspective on the utility. I never thought about the invisible hand of forced savings in order to acquire BTC! Good stuff!
