"We live in a consumer society where everything is done to make you spend your fiat money on things you don’t really need. Advertisers are very inventive in pushing consumers to buy." I've felt this way my whole life. I love the idea of taking control of your life through using bitcoin.

This is a great article to share with the older generation. Very informative and gives a great perspective on the utility. I never thought about the invisible hand of forced savings in order to acquire BTC! Good stuff!

Amazing Article thsnk you for this perspective. Yes absolutely Bitcoin protects the fruits of our labor and transfers our precious time back to the individual. Bitcoin is true freedom money. He is not forced into having to learn about stocks mutual funds or any other Wallstreet product. He is a true sovereign individual who has embraced Bitcoin and joined the revolution. Thank you

It's not all about bitcoin too. Bitcoin can open up your eyes to the crypto/blockchain world. We're still in the early stages and there's lots of life changing opportunities to take advantage of.

These are truly exciting times to be alive.

Oh how true this article is especially the part about how they manipulate us to be consumers. You know I didn't realize how far some advertisers go to take advantage of their audience. Until about a year ago when I watched a Youtube video where this guy explained how Jeffery Star and Shane Dawson built up all the hype for their makeup line that they collabed on. To the point it broke their website when it was released.

I just found Cryptowriter tonight but I can see already that I am going to thoroughly enjoy the content.

Very interesting article!

Economic value is quantified by money since it is a liquid medium of exchange, backed by government & central banks. However, serious problems exists with the current monetary system.Infact the world has become numb to the ever inflating global economy. There is a growing discontent to our current systems. All said, Bitcoin will never fully replace fiat currencies. But it offers a path to a more decentralized power. Through Bitcoin, people are getting back the financial power to make their own decisions and the best part is, it takes the world as one, devoid of any geographical boundaries. That's what it truly means to be decentralized. This is why futurists are getting excited about the prospect of a digital token economy embedded by blockchain technology to complement the current flawed system.

Absolutely agree with your point and the idea of taking control back by using bitcoin.

What comes to my mind is also that we need a lot more education on that matter.

A lot of people are interested (through all generations) but lack some fundamental understanding on how to start or even think it is just for people who can afford "a bitcoin".

There must be easy understandable education about wallets and their differences, on how to secure assets and of course what it means - for example - to stack sats.

The problem is that a lot of the last generations are born into a world where almost everything is taken from your hands - meaning most stuff is controlled by other parties and people have grown to be comfortable with this loss of control and power, because it also means (at short sight) less work, thoughts and worries.

And that is the point where re-education and re-claiming has to start.

And I hope that we are at a turning point, now that more and more people join this space, willing to educate themselves, to ask and to be part of a different kind of revolution...
