There have been a few super rare Finneys burned! Including at least 2 crackheads 🥲

Unfortunately, I was one that burned a red chesta baremetal finney before I knew how rare the red chesta was... I am super diligent about checking my finnys before burning now... lol

Best not to dwell on the loss of the red chesta baremetal. I think your miner will be worth it in the end.

is there a convenient article anywhere discussing finney rarities?

The insight provided by Brendan is critical to the noob who may have just stumbled onto this amazing project and any others who may have missed important Finney history!

The Finney experience is very addictive and fun. I ´m going to pursue the Palladium and hopefully Rhodium BTC miners. There´s no stopping now, gotta burn them all.

I'm still waiting for the red lambo :-)

At a rate of 2596 Finneys in 3 weeks, and a price increase of 5-7x we can expect that as early as this fall we will have burnt... *checks notes*... 25,223 Finney Coins at a nice 42,627x return.

Atleast I'm pretty sure. Maybe I should read that article again...

Nice article and very interesting research. I am unfortunately one of those who may have burned a nice Finney in my quest for a miner. I didn't realize at the beginning that the different articles and clothing could make a Finney more rare. So now I'm afraid to see what I've burned but I am just happy to be part of this project. I'm hoping for more Finneys and Finney coins in the future.

It feels like years have passed, although it's a really short time.

created a great excitement in this short period of time finney

We all feel like we have been part of this family for years.

more and more people are attracted to finney charm day by day.

sad and exciting when it comes to statistics

Burning a finney is not an easy task.

But you do this for the beauty you will discover

They drew a great design and road map

Kenny, Sean and the Cryptowriter team

I am grateful to them for that

thanks a lot

I agree 100%! Great community, and great team! I was pretty careful not to burn rare ones but sometimes their hidden. Learned to read the attributes and not just look at the Finney. I have one that has a ripped shirt but wearing something over it. Luckily he also has a pet and other visible items but could have burned it if he didn't. Big thank you to the team 😎👍

Notably Insightful article! It's just phenomenal the way CryptoFinney has grown, both in terms of popularity & in value after the burn event begun 3 weeks ago. For me, burning Finney coin is like a craving, where u want to burn more to get more captivating Finneys of different attributes. If u have not yet burnt a single Finney Gold Coin, you are majorly missing something beautiful & exciting in your life. You gotta burn it baby! To think of it, this is just the beginning, is not just impressive but the journey to discover him in different avatars is an exciting one. Can't wait to see, how Finneys story unravels.

Love me some data insights! Crazy to see that finney coins have made a higher run up since this post a few days ago (1,100 wax per coin now) with people rushing to get their BTCminers made. And with the OG crackhead airdrops to membership card holders, I think an even higher floor has been set on those membership cards! Really love what the cryptowriter team has done to create value and utility in their various cards. Best part of all is that new members have a fair chance at grabbing some finney coins, since coins are distributed for free by various means on the Telegram page. Is there another project in this space that gives out free $200 coins to its contributing members on a daily basis? I love that the team has stood by their original model even with the price of coins going through the roof. Really shows that they're all about building a strong community and their actions certainly show it! I'm super excited to see what Sean & Kenny have in store for the next phase of the Crypto Finney story.

Yeah, this is the reason I left the Finney Telegram tonight and the Discord. This type of growth with NFT's and the current market is not sustainable and I don't think it's ever going to be accepted by the mainstream how it's currently set up.

If I was to explain to my mother the current state of NFT's I'd put it like this.

Me- 'OK so NFT's are like this mom. Stop watching Coronation Street for a minute, you can pause it. So, imagine an NFT like a pint of milk. You want a pint of milk so you queue up at the counter with your money. However, there are hundreds of people also queuing (in fact mom most of them aren't even people but robots, they're trained for this and so they are a lot quicker than you). Eventually, they bring the milk out, but instead of people queuing it's whoever can throw their money at the shop assistant first'.

Mom - 'What?! Why don't they queue?'

Me - 'Well there's only a hundred bottles of milk so they don't care. They're greedy'.

Mom - 'Well, I'd rather wait then for the next lot. I'm not putting up with that'.

Me - 'Nah you can't do that though mom, there's only a hundred bottles'.

Mom - 'Well how would I get milk then?'

Me - 'You'd have to pay double from the person that bought it'.

Mom - 'Well don't THEY need it?'

Me - 'No, they bought it so they could sell it for twice the price to you'.

Mom - 'hmmmm. Sod it then to be honest. I'm not paying that. I'll have black coffee.'

Me- 'Yep. Good call mom. Fuck the lot of them.'

Peace!

I agree that prices of the coins and Finneys have gone up a lot recently, but this is due to demand, and seems to be replicatiing similar markets in traditional spaces. People will pay large premiums for quality art work just because they've found a piece of work they love, whilst some also with the hope that it will increase in value. This project also has a great story behind it, and hopes to share knowledge of the crypto world with those invested, giving added value to the art work.

The prices going up are a great thing. It mean people enjoy the project and want more. If prices didn't go up people would say the project is dead and let's move on to bigger better things. The thing I love about Finney is the way they distributed the coins to begin with. Some were given for contributing to these well written articles, others through games, challenges, etc. The team didn't sell a single one, all were earned. It's such a beautiful and genius way to get people to spread the word and actually work for it. Those who earn them appreciate them more and either burn for a Finney or sell on secondary at a high price because they worked for it. Another genius thing is the drops for BTCMiners. Other projects have burning mechanisms in place but once you fully upgrade the cards are usually less rare then the ones burned. The drops give people incentives to burn to the end and earn the BTCMiners. Really look forward to seeing what the team does in the future!

This has been on my mind since receiving my first finney coin... how can this sustain.. theres just no way...

I see a very interesting thing here. At the time of writing there were way more BTC miners on WAX than on EOS. That means that for the BTC airdrops, there were less Floppys and less Shifts, making them rarest on EOS.

As for now there's only a few collectors that prefer EOS and, as soon as everyone wakes up, prices will moon.

I'm happy I chose EOS.
